as possible I'm releasing this play Tuesday night because I don't see how the line won't change by tomorrow morning and throughout the day on Wednesday. It's just my 2nd 5-Dime play this year and the first one was a winner with the Rays. I'm starting to get on a roll with MLB POD's with 3 W's in my last 4. Don't miss out on Wednesday's it's guaranteed with a 2-Dime bonus guaranteed or 1 day MLB FREE!

I don't really get this line early on, but I'm going to take full advantage of it and I hope you get this pick early on! With the rain delay the Phillies will have two games on Wednesday starting at 3:10 and Halladay who is just a -120 favorite will start. It doesn't matter who he starts against here it's either Aaron Cook or Jason Hammel who has a 9.16 ERA. Sure Cook has a 2.40 ERA at home this year and is likely to be the other starter, but I cant pass on this value. Cook's home starts were against the Mets and Marlins neither of which have come close to what the Phillies have done.

The Phillies are 21-5 in their last 26 opening games of a double header and Mr. Halladay has a 0.56 ERA in 4 day starts. Halladay over his career including the last three years has a 2.74 ERA during day starts compared to 3.22 during the night. Overall this Phillies team seems to either take advantage of other teams not playing well during the day or just being better prepared as I'll run through the stats here. Phillies 5.67 runs created per 27 outs during day vs. 5.41 at night they have a .277 average vs. a .270 night. The Rockies have 4.06 runs created per 27 outs during day compared to their 5.29 at night and their average is 40 points lower during the day.

Halladay 2.35 ERA in his last three starts has been great on the road witha 3-1 record and a 1.69 ERA. limited Rockies have ever seen Halladay those include Giambi, Mora, and Olivo and Helton who went 1-4 in 2002, a complete game shut out by Halladay. Phillies have also been lighting up the score board particularly against RHP in their last 5 with a .344 average and 7.28 runs per 9. Utley and Howard are a combined 14-38 with 2 HR and 14 RBI vs. Cook who had a 5.06 ERA in 3 starts in 2009 vs. the Phillies. Phillies have a .357 average in 84 ABs.
